The Jump City Jazz Orchestra is a dynamic big band orchestra comprised of eighteen of the Delaware Valley's finest musicians and vocalists. With our authentic big band sound, the Jump City Jazz Orchestra has delighted audiences at concerts, dances, weddings and corporate events with its entertaining and exciting performances of the 20th Century's greatest music since its founding in 1994.
Whether you prefer big band swing, torchy standards, Latin, classic rock, Motown, or special requests, JCJO faithfully recreates the magic and excitement of over sixty years of big band, swing & party music.
Our roots take us back to the traditional big band sounds of the World War II-era bands like Glenn Miller and Woody Herman.
Our development expands our horizons through the concert pieces popularized by the Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich and Stan Kenton Orchestras.
Our energy brings us to the modern-day jump swing sound of the Brian Setzer Orchestra and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy as well as the R&B grooves of Aretha Franklin, Blood Sweat & Tears and Ray Charles..
Our style leads us to the vocal classics of the Rat Pack, Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, and Louis Prima.

"As a musician myself, the musical aspect of my wedding was of top importance and I cannot say enough wonderful things about JCJO! I am so glad I found them! They are an incredibly talented group of musicians who are organized, professional and FUN! My wedding guests are still raving about them and they really made my wedding an exceptional event! Everyone was on the dance floor and guests of all ages were having an amazing time. I would recommend them to everyone I know...partially for selfish reasons so I could have another wonderful night of dancing!"

"Not only were Jump City Jazz Orchestra professional and extremely courteous in the dealings with me leading up to the event, they BLEW ME AWAY at my wedding! And not only me! Everyone at the wedding has been talking about them non stop and about how wonderful they were. Several people have asked me for their web address so that they can suggest them for their children's weddings. I think that the group is very talented, professional, and knows how to throw a very impressive party. I would not hesitate one minute in recommending them for anyone who wants to hire a band for their event. They will certainly give you a night that you will never forget. "

"Looking a a fantastic big band? If so, this is the band.
The band was quite flexible in accomodating our wedding reception schedule. You can't beat the sound of this band. As the evening progressed the music selection changed to a more contemporary wedding reception style music. This worked great as we had guests who preferred both styles. The band's business manager was fantastic. "

"Incredible group. Complete professionals from start to finish, not too loud, got everyone on dance floor and played not only swing but soul, motown, and jazz. It was a pleasure to have and they were requested to return sometime by the president of our medical center. I simply cannot express how highly I reccomend this band. They made our event spectacular!!!"

"I was delighted with the attention to the style and ambiance that I wanted for my wedding. I knew when I heard their video clips that they were the right sound for me. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed the big band sound, the soloist and the great variety. The term I heard most often, even weeks after the event - was "the best band" - classy!
Keith helped me with the details as I did not have a professional planner. Everything was perfect!"

"I have had the pleasure of working with the Jump City Jazz Orchestra for several events ranging from private parties to club-sponsored membership dances; including the recent huge success of our Valentines Day Sweetheart's Ball.
Each and every time, Jump City has exceeded our expectations in terms of professionalism and just outright talent. I hire several types of bands for our facility, and there is a distinct difference between simply hiring an act to do a job versus trusting a quality outfit like JCJO to truly entertain for an event. They know several styles of music and they have a blast in performing it for our guests. The positive feedback we receive from our patrons is enough to bring a band like JCJO back time and time again. Keep up the great work, guys!"

"It's hard to put into words how great their performance was... Our guests loved every moment and were extremely impressed.
Keith is the best master of ceremonies I've ever since and can sing anything. He went over & above helping out with instruction for cake cutting to offering his hand to help me down the spiral staircase.
The entire group was enthusiastic and extremely talented.
Every song was spot on-- I wish my feet didn't hurt, I hated taking
a break from dancing. A special thank you for letting my Father play along with the band. He was on cloud 9 -it was a moment none of us will soon forget. Our sincere thanks. Lisa & David Saba.

"Our wedding was on Aug 18, 2012. JCJO played our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. all three were perfect. They hit every aspect of what you want on your special day. I highly recommend them for any event. Great communication up to the event gave us the confidence that we didn't need to worry about a thing. They had it all covered!
