Najla Belly Dance

With over a decade of experience performing at private parties, Najla will liven up any event. By the end of the performance, most of the room will be up dancing! She is available as a solo performer at birthday parties, weddings, and other events. For larger events she organizes full stage shows with the award-winning dance company she directs.

Najla's passionate and graceful style has made her a favorite performer of Oriental Belly Dance in the Seattle area and abroad. She is known for her natural and complex Egyptian technique, unique choreography, and playful attitude. She is the Artistic Director of Fleurs d'Egypte Dance Company, which received 1st Runner Up at the International Belly Dance Convention in Las Vegas in 2007. Her experience spans over a dozen years and a dozen countries including extensive performances in Turkey, Greece, France, and China. She has studied intensively in Cairo with world renowned choreographer Raqia Hassan. She was also selected to tour with the Belly Dance Superstars in 2005. Locally Najla can be seen performing at The Can Can, Takis Mad Greek, and Majles Lounge.

Najla is now available for hula performances- perfect for your luau or Hawaiian themed event! Najla has been dancing hula and Tahitian dance since 2004. Also, NEW!! Childrens' Hula/Tahitian/Belly Dance Party: In one hour kids will learn the basics of hula, Tahitian, and belly dance! Includes 3 short performances with 2 costume changes and a gift for the birthday girl or guest of honor.

• She was wonderful! She came in and waited for everyone to be outside so we could surprise the birthday boy. When she came out she just started dancing. Everything worked out perfectly. Their was audience participation for the 2 year old's up to the 50+ year old's. She danced beautifully and to many different songs. Everyone was so pleased and happy. She was completely prepared with outfit changes. I would highly recommend her to perform for anyone who likes hula and belly dancing.
