"Island Fusion" features Nancy and Jody Messich. Performing together for over 36 years on cruise ships, in night clubs, private banquets, wineries, festivals, and weddings. The name "Island Fusion" reflects the fusing of many styles of music we can play for your event: Our songlist includes a healthy portion of music from the "little latitudes - Buffett, traditional calypso, with a real 'STEEL DRUM'. We really like to mix it up with some funky R&B, Motown, and vintage 70s and Nancy's vocals are amazing on those 1940's ballads. How many bands do you know of that can combine a Michael Jackson song with "The Limbo" or pull off a respectable TOP cover of "Diggin on James Brown" or Frampton's "Do You Feel" with a great guitar solo. Swing, blues, jazz standards, even a little country...no problem. Nancy plays tenor steel drum, full drum kit, djembe and is the lead singer. Jody plays keyboards, guitar and sings. We love to perform and have been lucky to have done it together for so many years, we think our experience shows.

Island Fusion with Nancy and Jody were great, and they kept the party going. They came early to setup, and make sure that they knew the flow of the event. It was upbeat, fun music that the guest really enjoyed. It was a great experience.

'Island Fusion' played my wedding ceremony last Friday and they were awesome! My guests loved them, even though I only got to hear a couple of songs (they played while the guests were arriving while I was getting ready) they were great. I was sad they had to leave! Should of had them for the whole wedding! Everyone thought it was a nice touch to our beach themed wedding and I cannot wait to see them perform again. They were very accommodating, played many songs that we requested, even learned songs for us! We can't thank you guys enough and I hope to be able to have the pleasure of working with you again in the future! Thanks for making my day special!

They came to play at my daughters outside wedding! It was freezing and we thought we would blow away! God bless they played there hearts out! The music was lovely and there personality and charm was just as good! Thank you for being so patient-even with mother nature! Harry and Terrie Watts
