Stir It Up Bartending was founding in 2009 by Patrick Conlon. My first bartending gig in a restaurant was at Darya South Coast Plaza in the South Coast Metro area (near South Coast Plaza) of Santa Ana, CA. From there I started to get into catering which has taken me to all kinds of places most notably The Oscar Awards Governor's Ball and The Emmy Awards. Other great events I have worked are: the Breaking Bad Series Finale writer's party, A gala working with Taylor Armstrong and Dana Wilkey of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Rose Bowl, The Long Beach Grand Prix, James Franco's Comedy Central Roast, David O Sacks the COO of Pay Pal's opulent birthday party, just to name a few among many. Notable catering companies I have worked for: Wolfgang Puck Catering, T.G.I.S. Catering, Mark's Catering, The Long Beach Convention Center, Cocktail Concierge, Savore Catering, and many more. In 2013, I was the featured bartender of David Tutera's My Fair Wedding on the WeTV Network. I was sponsored by Wild Turkey, making the bride and groom a specialty drink called the Louisville Lickity Split. I have studied directly under critically acclaimed and revered bartender Gabby Dion. In 2012, I became a Level 1 Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers) to learn more about wine and service in a fine dining setting. I plan to become a certified Sommelier in the coming years. I am a proud member of the Orange County Bartender's Cabinet. I am graduating in the summer of 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration: Entertainment & Tourism from Cal State Fullerton. The degree has a partial emphasis in hospitality where I spent a lot of time going over the diverse fundamentals of the catering industry. Certifications: TIPS, ServSafe, LEADS When I am not working in the hospitality industry, I am working in the film Industry developing projects. I am also the Development Director and co-founder of the Oscar Award (AMPAS) Sponsored Sunscreen Film Festival West.
