Description
The Four Leads Barbershop Quartet was the 2009 GigMasters 'Rising Star Award' Winner for Top Barbershop Quartet. We won this award because we booked more gigs than any other quartet in the U.S. and Canada through GigMasters. We currently are a 5-Star Performer for GigMasters. The Four Leads have been singing together for over ten years as a 'registered quartet' in the Barbershop Harmony Society. Before we became a "quartet" we all sang lead or melody in our home chorus, thus the name 'Four Leads'. Three of us switched voice parts to help our chorus, the Cincinnati Delta Kings Barbershop Chorus, with their Singing Valentine's promotion. We were put together by random chance and thought we sounded pretty good and the rest is history. We attend annual intense quartet training seminars to improve our unit harmony, singing, presentation and entertainment skills.
We'll customize our performances by length, location or group size. We sing songs from 1890's barbershop favorites to movie and show tunes to 1950's, 60's and 70's oldies. We try to please folks of all ages with our music and we always include a few humorous jokes or stories for your entertainment and amusement. Everything we do is "G" rated so you need not worry about children in the audience. Once we know who our audience will be, we select songs we feel will please that particular group. Simply ask when we contact you and we may be able to include specific songs you want to hear.
We've performed hundreds of times before large and small audiences for all kinds of occasions. We've sung to individuals during a 'Singing Valentine' as well as performing before over a thousand people for special gatherings. Often we are the featured quartet at our home chorus concerts. We've performed at Cincinnati's Tall Stacks Riverboat Festival, on excursion boats, at parties and picnics of all sizes, at special community events, at Dayton Hara arena, at the Indianapolis Convention Center, at a PGA event, at an ATP event, at the Columbus Clippers baseball park, as a teaching quartet for other choruses, at Cincinnati's SummerFair, at several area country club functions and many other venues. Please call on us and please 'Let Us Entertain You'!

Feedback
- I thought they were fantastic and our residents loved them too. I would love to have them back again soon! -- Terina F, Cincinnati, OH, 8/20/2009
- I HAD NEVER HIRED A BARBERSHOP QUARTET BEFORE AND I MUST SAY THEY WERE FABULOUS! I HEARD RESPONSES FROM SEVERAL OF OUR GUESTS AND EVERYONE THROUGHLY ENJOYED THEM. THE WAY THEY ENTERTAINED WITH SONG AND COMEDY WAS VERY ENJOYABLE AND HAS MADE A LASTING IMPRESSION ON MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THE VERY YOUNG CHILDREN EVEN STOPPED AT TIMES TO LISTEN TO THEM SING AS THEY RAN AROUND THE ROOM AND THE QUARTET WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THAT. THEY EVEN HAD TO SING OVER A TRAIN.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM AND WILL HIRE THEM IN THE FUTURE FOR OTHER EVENTS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING MY MOMS 70TH BIRTHDAY ONE WE WILL NOT FORGET. -- Barbara M, Trenton, OH, 6/12/2009
- Perfect fit for our community event.
Festive, fun and professional.
Contributed to a very classy feel.

- Our audience seemed to enjoy the performance. Their jokes were pretty funny. -- Paul B, Owensville, OH, 10/27/2011
- As a performer and booking agent i would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a barbershop group. They performed exactly as expected and arrived plenty early for the event. (that de-stresses us event producers ,:) ) I would use them again most definitely.
Thanks guys for doing a GREAT job and pleasing my client.
Best wishes,
Darren Vincent

- The Four Leads were asked to sing Irish and Military themed songs for a 90 yr old Marine's B'day party - 2 Irish songs were sung and no military songs at all. Too much talking - very few songs sung; they couldn't be heard in a hall for 75 attendees; they were very off key. Very disappointing. I don't think the party attendees cared how to "build" a barbershop quartet song but would have rather heard songs. -- Sandie B, Cincinnati, OH, 11/12/2011
- The four leads did a fabulous job for our event. They were very professional and very engaging with the audience. I would recommend them to anyone and truly enjoyed them. They added the final touch for our event! -- Mary A, Cincinnati, OH, 9/18/2011
- I was not in attendance but had 3 daughters there. They all really enjoyed this group. They had some variety, some humor and gave attention to the bride-to-be. I didn't ask for someone until a few days before the event and The Four Leads were so accommodating. It was a busy time and they called me which was a huge help. -- Mary C, Cincinnati, OH, 12/9/2011
