Description

This is the real deal. This is a 3214 big band. This was the format that dominated the regional band scene through out the 30's, 40's and 50's. We have recaptured the scores, the instrumentation and feeling of the great era of the big band. This makes for an affordable alternative to other bands yet preserves the style and flair that was the Tuxedo Junction is a collection of top musicians that performs the best of the world of Jazz.

We are rated as the second top Big Band in our region on Gigmasters. We are making every effort to become number one. Our goal is to exceed your expectation.


We perform straight ahead jazz and swing styles for your concert or community event. Music in the style of Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Gil Evans, Oliver Nelson, Bill Holeman, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and Miles Davis.

We also perform as a sextet. The front line consists of Trumpet, Alto, and Tenor saxophones. The rhythm section has four performers and we can bring along a male vocalist or a female vocalist as you wish.
