Wake & District Pipes & Drums

The Wake and District Pipe Band is a group which virtually appeared from nowhere in 2006 and in short order established themselves as a serious Public Safety Band. From Solo pipers for weddings, funerals, and any number of celebratory events, to mini bands or even the full band for your St. Pat's party or company event we have the membership and talent within our band to meet your needs. The band is growing group of musicians drawing membership from the entire public safety service as well as members from the community and we’re ready to serve your piping and traditional music needs.

The band competes in Grade V at events sanctioned by the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association and has won First place in band competition while individual members have taken prizes in Grade 2 through 5.
