Steve Agan

I have 25 years of piping experience and frequently play for weddings and other events in Western North Carolina. As a solo piper, I play at the Grade II level in EUSPBA-sanctioned games. My most famous performance was a tribute to professional golfer Payne Stewart at a memorial service held in his honor at the Champions Golf Club in October 1999.

I am also a former member of the Hamilton Pipe Band of Houston, Texas, which won First Place at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, at the Grade III level in August 1998. The next year we placed third out of 33 bands in Grade II at the big contest in Scotland -- a high level of achievement for a pipe band from the United States.
