Nick Starr has been 'Piping' for over 20 years! He first began playing in Syracuse NY with the Balmoral Highland Pipe Band. Now he lives in Fort Lauderdale Florida and plays with both The Fort Lauderdale Highlanders in Fort Lauderdale and The Harp and Thistle Pipe Band located in Naples Florida. Nick participates in Bagpipe band competitions at Highland Festivals throughout the state. The band competition season lasts from January to April. During the year, he also plays for a variety of private events. Nick is the resident Piper for St. Anthonys church in Ft. Lauderdale and for The Art Institute graduation ceremonies, and he looks forward to playing for your special event!
