Mike is available for any event and takes pride in being able to offer you solid musicianship at an affordable price. Mike's goal is to work with you to provide you with a long lasting memory. He is a Grade II solo competitor in the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association. Mike's biggest accomplishment was 1st overall in Piobaireach, which is the classical music of the Bagpipe, in Grade III back in 2010. Mike was also 4th overall in the Light music and Piobaireach combined out of 315 competitors respectivley back in 2010 in Grade III. Mike continues to compete in the Grade II solo arena throughout the Eastern United States and his 2014 competition highlights include Grade II Piper of The Day at the 2014 Scotland, CT Highland Games. Mike continues to recieve piping instruction from Professional Pipers Heather Scott Weishart (Norwood, Ma) and Daniel Pisowloski (Canterbury, CT). Mike performs on a set of fully mounted stainless steel, Victorian engraved, black wood, Dunbar bagpipes. Mike purchased this set back in 2007 from McGillveray Piping LLC, Ontario, Canada. Mike also has a back up set of Dunbar Polypenco bagpies, gaurenteing never to miss a performance. Mike will bring his competitve enthusiasm to your event guaranteeing quality sound and music. Mike Capone went above and beyond what we asked of him. He was very curteous, a true professional, and a pleasure to work with. His skills on the bagpipes were absolutely amazing. What can we say but Excellence!!!! Michael went above and beyond anything we could have anticipated. One of the guests next to me (there may have been more) actually cried when she heard the pipes as the bride walked down the isle...... Yes he is that good! The bride said "he just was completely awesome; I don't know how else to say he was just so wonderful!" Thank you Michael for making Lyn & Chris' wedding even more special!!
