I am a Vietnam-era veteran. From 1999 through and including 2009 I played for the Memorial Day Candlelight Blue Star/ Star Mothers'service at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington,DC. I was a member of the Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drums Band for 22
years. When I retired I began playing funerals, weddings, private parties, school events, and, numerous military events (flag raisings, funerals for veterans etc.)
I've been playing the Highland pipes for approx. 24 years. I play most of the standard tunes, however, in some cases, I will play pop tunes, if requested, providing they can be transposed to the pipe scale.
I'm very passionate about the pipes and consider myself very professional and
a colorful and disciplined piper. I love playing the pipes in public and I love my
Scottish heritage. My first funeral was for for my dear mother who wanted me
to play at her funeral.

"Chris was very professional, nice attire to go along with the bagpipe. we could have gotten more for the fee charged but was not able to communicate with Chris during the funeral arrangements I was a paul bearer and overseeing my fathers funeral. He was on time and playing as we arrived with out any monies being exchanged before hand and played at church service as well as the funeral home at (2) different locations. Drove (2) hours to accomodate the family enjoyed the pipes and wished we would have had the extra time to organize more, all this on short notice!
