Chris Paul

I am a Vietnam-era veteran. For the past 9 years I have played for the Memorial Day Candlelight memorial service at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington,
DC. I was a member of the Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drums Band for 22
years. When I retired I began playing funerals, weddings, private parties, school events, and, numerous military events (flag raisings, funerals for veterans etc.)
I've been playing the Highland pipes for approx. 24 years. I play most of the standard tunes, however, in some cases, I will play pop tunes, if requested, providing they can be transposed to the pipe scale.
I'm very passionate about the pipes and consider myself very professional and
a colorful and disciplined piper. I love playing the pipes in public and I love my
Scottish heritage. My first funeral was for for my dear mother who wanted me
to play at her funeral.
