Anthony Ybarra: Born in Santa Barbara, California, Anthony has had the guitar in his hands all his life. His father introduced to him Latin and jazz music at an early age and soon his musical palette broadened to encompass classical and flamenco. He also was a multi-instrumentalist and performed in rock, pop, and Liturgical settings. His diverse musical background proved essential in the success of Ybarra Music. His understanding of these diverse styles has led him craft out his own sound that is melodic, romantic, intimate, rhythmic, and sophisticated.

Anthony began Ybarra Music in 2002. After years of performing as a solo guitarist, Anthony relied on his musical experience to provide many different options for his clients. By 2006, Anthony and Ybarra Music was one of the top music entertainment companies for Weddings and private events in Santa Barbara. Ybarra Music was one of the few companies to not only provide solo guitar and guitar based groups, but also include: Jazz ensembles, Flamenco Groups, Rock and RnB Bands, Latin Jazz Ensembles, Classical groups, and Vocal ensembles.

Anthony not only contracts these groups but performs with them as well. All of the musicians are hand picked by Anthony and are recognized as professionals in their musical fields with credits that include: Santana, Doc Severson, Sergio Mendez, Michael Macdonald, Ricky Martin, Linda Rontasdt, Engelbert Humperdinck, Maria Schneider, Adam del Monte, Strunz & Farah, and Kenny Loggins to name a few.

Anthony and Ybarra Music's musicians provide world class entertainment with the highest level of professionalism and respect for their clients. By 2010, Ybarra Music grew to include the following ensembles: Solo Guitar (Classical, Flamenco, Latin jazz, Rock, Jazz, and Holiday styles) - Duos (All styles and different configurations) Trios ( All Styles and configurations) -
Quartets to a 10 piece band. - Vocal Groups and Choirs - Classical ensembles Flamenco and Latin Jazz groups and Dancers -Rock and RnB Ensembles.

Anthony has performed all over California and abroad in Montreux, Switzerland, Paris, France, and Hong Kong, China. Anthony is an active, sought out soloist and recording artist in many styles. He has recorded 5 albums under his own name with his last album entitled "Flamenco Latino" (2009) which contains 12 original Flamenco Latino pieces. His music has been featured on documentaries, film, and television such as Turner Classic Movies, Showtime's original series "Dexter", and the film "Species". In 2005 and 2007, he was asked to perform for the private premier parties of "The Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Man's Chest" and "The Pirates of the Caribbean – At World's End" where he entertained the entire cast and crew including Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and Geoffery Rush. In 2008, Anthony was asked to perform for then, Presidential candidate, Barack Obama at Oprah Winfrey's estate in Santa Barbara.

Anthony is a graduate of the University of Southern California's studio guitar department where he holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in guitar performance.
