"THE SOUND ENCOUNTER ORCHESTRA" is the premier -HIGH ENERGY- wedding, corporate event, dance, and festival band in the Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana areas and has been entertaining for over 25 years. Offering vocal variety, usually 3 lead vocalists, our most popular option is our 9 piece band (as seen on many of our live videos). We also offer band options to accomodate many budgets- from 4 piece and up to a 12 piece band. Featuring great musical variety, from 40's to current, standards, motown, funk, rock, dance, swing and international music (including an extensive list of Italian music). This flexibility has allowed us to become one of the top-rated bands in the midwest. The musicians in this band have provided the entertainment at well over 1000 weddings, corporate events, and other formal events. With this much experience you can be certain that "THE SOUND ENCOUNTER ORCHESTRA" can suit the mood of any occasion, whether it's black-tux formal, semi formal, or casual. No matter which style you need, you will be happy with their professional sound and look.

Over 30% of the Gigmasters weddings we book are for couples who live hundreds of miles from the Chicago area and are not able to see us live, but have put their trust in us based on our rating, videos, and most importantly, our "CLIENT FEEDBACK" and other referrals we offer. You can be confident that we will make your reception a memorable event for you and your guests. After submitting our bid, we will email a 2 page questionaire which can give you ideas regarding your individualized reception timeline that you may not have thought of.

(Due to client privacy issues, we no longer show a list of upcoming dates and locations. In addition, we are often able to perform at two events in one day-morning and evening- and have not been getting bid/info requests if our calender showed a date already booked. There may be upcoming events where you can see us perform "live", please ask for this list when you submit your request to us and we will gladly provide this. Some prime Saturdays are still available for 2011. Thanks.)

"I cannot say enough about how wonderful every single person in the Sound Encounter Orchestra is. They made our beautiful wedding all the more beautiful and it would not have been the same without them. Thinking of hiring a DJ compared to this band? Don't!
Paul is the most wonderful person to deal with from start to finish and the level of professionalism the whole band displayed cannot be beat. We put so much into the planning of our wedding and making the decision to hire The Sound Encounter Orchestra, was by far, the best decision we could have made for the entertainment for our reception. Every single guest in attendance loved the band and asked who they were!!!"

"They played our wedding this past Saturday (11th) and it could not have gone better. Everyone had positive comments and was constantly complimenting the quality of the band. In fact my grandmother, who is a bit naive, asked "Where can I buy there CD, they are great!" I would HIGHLY recommend Paul and the Sound Encounter Orchestra. Every member was very talented. The communication was very easy, the day of the event was extremely smooth, and the follow-up was great. A very classy group all around and would be excited to work with them again."

"Wow!Paul Nuccio was easy with which to work leading up to our event. The band accommodated several special requests: including learning some Johnny Cash and a three song medley for our first dance as husband and wife.
The band played light music during dinner which did not overpower conversation and was very pleasant in the background. After dinner, things really got swinging when they kicked off dancing music.
Our guests kept commenting on how fabulous the band was. Best of all, the band members themselves seemed to be having a great time.
Thanks so much to The Sound Encounter Orchestra for putting on such a great and personalized show for us and our guests!
