SHARMANE (Adams) grew up as a child who traveled the globe. She was exposed to numerous cultures and openly admits that she was blessed with many of the material privileges that only some can imagine. But, as she grew into her adult life and was confronted with numerous challenges, she felt a yearning to grow deeper and more spiritual in her life journey. Although she was rooted in a Catholic upbringing, it wasn't until she attended a parish mission that she truly committed to living her life on-fire for her faith! As SHARMANE embraced this new direction for her life she also quickly realized that music and ministry would be a significant aspect of this conversion experience. Although she had been singing her entire life, (from performing in pageants to serving as a cantor at her local parish), the renewal of her faith took her music and songwriting in a whole new direction.

In 2002, SHARMANE released her debut album titled, PRAYERFUL HEARTS. This CD was not your typical "contemporary Christian" recording project that many artists create as their first-ever CD. The project was delightfully aimed at children with its musical retelling of the classic prayers of the Catholic faith. SHARMANE took her commitment to this project one step further, however, and made it so that proceeds from the project would be contributed to Our Lady of Clear Creek Monastery (a Benedictine Monastery in Oklahoma). This CD ultimately reached the Top 10 on numerous Catholic music sales charts which inspired others to ask SHARMANE for more of her music. But it wasn't until she made a long distance move with her family, battled a life threatening illness, and started a new business venture with her husband did she release her sophomore CD, self-titled SHARMANE (2006).

This album was inspired by the notion of simplifying life through prayer and song. As a wife and mother, SHARMANE understands how life can become so busy that we lose touch with our own inner peace. This CD captures that essence and gently brings the listener back to a place of solemnity and calm. The lyrics are uplifting and stylistically the music is diverse, but the constant theme throughout is about settling down and absorbing a sense of peace and grace.

In 2007, SHARMANE penned a song titled I SURRENDER for a friend who had a son battling a life-threatening illness. SHARMANE made her way to Nashville to record the song which was accepted by CRW (Christian Radio & Retail Weekly) to be part of their I-DISC program that is sent to 1500 radio stations nationwide.The song received critical acclaim and found its way to the top of many charts include a spot in the Top 20 on the CRW chart for over 20 weeks! In addition, SHARMANE created an impact project in partnership with St Jude Children's Hospital where proceeds from the download of the song went towards children's cancer research.

The music of SHARMANE has inspired listeners worldwide with thanks to radio (especially EWTN Worldwide Radio Network and Sirius satellite radio). She's been featured in several magazines and newspapers and has been interviewed for various websites and pod casts. Recently she was invited to perform as the featured artist on the EWTN television program, Backstage. She has also been nominated for several UNITY AWARDS presented by the UCMVA.

Today SHARMANE continues to travel as a music minister and as a spiritual champion for her faith and the Sacraments. She performs and speaks at numerous church events and conferences which she caters according to her audience whether it is a youth event, a women's retreat or a family-friendly parish event. SHARMANE has also performed at numerous Festivals, Private Corporate Events, Fund Raisers and Benefits.

SHARMANE is actively presenting her 3 day mission program titled "Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace" and is passionate about encouraging interaction of the family and delivering the message that Faith is alive in your household. Through these opportunities SHARMANE hopes to open your heart to God and to help YOU to embrace a conversion of heart. This program is perfect for Women's Retreats/Conferences or Family events.

In 2008, SHARMANE introduced a brand new YOUTH workshop that focuses on getting to the heart of who you really are in the eyes of the Lord. The High School version of the Workshop is titled FIND ME, CLEANSE ME, TAKE ME THERE! but she also has a version appropriate for the Middle School market titled STUCK IN THE MIDDLE which lays the foundation of faith seeking for the middle school aged student. SHARMANE workshops include a combination of speaking and uplifting praise & worship music. Perfect for Confirmation retreats, Lock-Ins, Youth Camps, etc.

In 2008, SHARMANE was recognized as FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR at the KCCM Awards held in Kansas City.
