In April, 2013, Ron was hand picked to open for the legendary Lionel Richie at a private event on Miami Beach. Surely a highlight. But whether alone or sharing the stage, Ron Blanchette is back with his unique and powerful sound for all who care to listen.
His music is described as eclectic-melodic pop to contemporary rock/pop...often sprinkled with a contemporary Jazz feel.
Performed most of the South Florida hot spots, with an emotionally driven vocal style that is as powerful as this artist's written words and haunting melodies. Cover tunes range from 70's to today's most popular hits. As a soloist, created unique acoustic arrangements of some of the decades hottest rock songs.
His LIVE performances were born of a desire to be free from the trappings of a band and to share the stage with artists on a venue by venue basis.

Ron was absolutely amazing at our engagement party! We received so many compliments from our guests on how great he was. His voice, song list and style were exactly what we wanted, and he played to the mood of the party all night. Ron is amazing!! He brought that perfect ambiance to the party that we wanted. Having someone play live music is such a special added touch to a gathering. We had gone to a birthday party several months ago where he played, and we couldn't wait to find an excuse to hire him! We hired him to play at a small 80th birthday party with about 25 guests. Ron was in contact with me several times to go over the details of what we wanted. He showed up early to set up. He was accommodating and professional and our guests loved him! His talent is amazing. Looking forward to hiring him again. Would recommend him in a heartbeat! You will not be disappointed.

What a professional ! Ron brought EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR , for my daughter's graduation. Beautiful blend of his melodic voice and guitar to provide just the right amount and right kind of entertainment for our special day. He reaches many audiences( we had guests from age 7 to age 77 !)I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone and look forward to the next chance that I get the pleasure of hiring him.
