Pipe Major Patrick J. Martens

I have been performing for over 30 years. In that time I have played all over the world, played for U.S. Presidents and Heads of State, Movies, Television and Radio. I am a Professional Open Graded competitor and have won every major prize in the Eastern United States amateur grades as well as multiple prizes in the professional Open Graded contests. Currently, I instruct 6 pipe bands and over 100 solo students. In my long career, I have played over 2500 weddings and numerous parties and corporate events as well as the most sad duty of playing the funerals of the heroes who valiantly gave their lives on September 11th 2001.

I am able to get Irish Step Dancers or Scottish Highland dancers for your function as well as small pipes for indoors when the full pipes may be too loud for the more intimate setting. Something to remember when you hire a bagpiper to make your event more special...do you want to hire the student who is learning the tunes or do you want to hire the MASTER PIPER who is doing the teaching? Remember the MASTER PIPER can provide the tunes the way they are supposed to sound, not stuggling through and hoping to get by.
