Talented. Soulful. Balladeer. Professional. These are just a few words to describe Mose Stovall. Mose is a true artist with a passion for music. He has been singing since he was twelve years old. He?s performing publicly since 2003 and recording since 2001. Making music and singing is his God given talent and he doesn?t waist time using his gifts.
His voice was nurtured in high school. He sang with the Birmingham Civic Opera, Birmingham All City Choir, and the State of Alabama Choral Ensemble in his younger years. Now, a seasoned balladeer, his career highlights include opening for renowned artists like Erica Badu, Willie, Clayton, and The O?Jays, Maze. He appeared on Star Struck hosted by Donnie and Marie Ausman and was the opening act for the First Urban Grammy Showcase, where he received a Grammy for his talents and accomplishments. Mose currently hosts a weekly TV show called BEATS TV seen on Birmingham?s local airways ABC 33/40.
While Mose performs with area bands like, Force Five and Pharcyde, he does enjoy doing his own thing. He is currently working on his third recording project. He released is his soulful R&B solo CD entitled ?Private Party in 2003. This CD plays home to hits such as Hold You, The Problem Is You, and Good Lovin. Artists like the late Luther Vandross, Anthony Hamilton, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly inspire his music. You will find paying tribute to his idles in his acts. He has an extensive resume of songs and is sure to please any crowd. Also, Mose Stovall won the 2007 BAMA Award for the Best R&B/Soul Recording Artist.
Finally, Mose Stovall sing the Best of 70's, 80's, 90's Dance Music, Motown Music, Old School Funk, R & B, Blues, Neo Soul, Jazz, Popular Standard, etc. He is always a Crowd-Pleaser and the Ladies Love Him!!!
