Mike is happy to learn and perform songs of your choice for your wedding ceremony.
Mike released 2 Cds in the nineties to critical acclaim (favorable reviews in "Dirty Linen," "Sing Out" and several other national publications)and started to have other artists record his songs which eventually led to a passion for recording. Also, during this period of time Mike got his first b bender telecaster which would eventually lead him to write and record a ground breaking CD called "Mescal Mary and Other B and G Bender Guitar Instrumentals" and received notable reviews in many national publications including "20th Century Guitar."
The 1990's found Mike freelancing with various bands as well as playing guitar for country stars that would come through town including Hank Thompson, Skip Ewing and John McKuen.
Currently, you can find Mike performing with his own band as well as doing solo performances throughout the country most recently opening for Jo Dee Messina at the Celebrity Theater and performing with Jessi Colter on NPR's Michael Feldman's "Whaddaya Know." Mike also continues to record and produce his own and other artists' music most recently working on Jessi Colter's "Out of the Ashes" (for which he was favorably reviewed in "Mix" magazine) as well as composing and recording music for television and movies including the made for TV special "Walker, Texas Ranger - Trial by Fire," Discovery Channel's "Sucking Amps," A&E Biographies on Bruce Willis, Halle Berry, Will Smith, Cuba Gooding Jr, Kevin Costner, Kevin Kline, Leonardo Di Caprio, Owen Wilson and the soon to be airing on Public Television "Lassie's Pet Vet," NBC's "America's Got Talent," TLC's "Property Ladder," "My First Home," The Discovery Channel's "Clinically Wild - Alaska," "ABC's Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann," "American Idol Rewind," "Wedding Central," "Farmer Wants A Wife" on the CW network, "Can You Duet" on CMT, "Clean House" on the Style Network, "Losing It, Tales From Fat Camp" and "The Osbornes Reloaded."

- Mike was great! He was excellent in terms of communication before the wedding, and learned "our" song, which made the wedding extra special! He was professional, very present at the wedding, and is very talented. His cost was upfront and didn't include any hidden fees, which made budgeting very easy. We would absolutely use him again, and recommend him for anyone's event! Thanks Mike! -- Robert W, Sedona, AZ, 3/12/2011

- Please be sure to feature Mike Breen at the top of your list on Gigmasters! I can't put into words how wonderful he was at our wedding. I have worked in the music business for the past 25+ years and have a long standing working relationship with artists such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Tony Bennett. Anytime Mike wants a reference, please use me. I would like to be able to personally tell everyone how great Mike is - not only to work with, but his understanding of the music and the actual ceremony. He is truly one of a kind and I thank your site for helping me locate the perfect musician for the most important day in my life.

- He was unbelievable! It was the 1st night (the Welcome Party) of our annual conference-which was the kick off to the entire week. The theme was western and everyone dressed for the occasion, including Mike - per request.I told him exactly what the party would be like and the purpose of the music, and he accommodated that and fit perfectly with the atmosphere. He'll set the mood however you want him to. All of our guests were saying all evening that the "entertainment - (Mike) was outstanding".His music was perfect and his voice kept you engaged. I would absolutely recommend him to everyone out there. In fact, he should be the first person you look into for your event. -- Kathi M, Tucson, AZ, 1/9/2008
