"Music" Mike Children's Music Singer from New York City, NY

Thank you for visiting my profile. I'm "Music Mike" and I am an acoustic guitar player available for children's parties. For kids parties I play mostly acoustic guitar, banjo, ukulele and harmonica. The age group that I mostly play for is 1-5 years old. I don't really set a time limit for parties because sometimes the party just keeps going and that's great. One idea that viewers might appreciate is that I can create a hybrid set list that includes grown up music that's friendly for all ages. I think this hybrid set works well because parties are dynamic as is children's attention span. Sometimes they're on the mat or rug right in front of me. Other times they are hanging with their mom's and dads. So this has been a growing trend with my clients. I bring, 2 large gathering drums, maracas, tambourines, shaky eggs and batons with colorful ribbons and bells so the kids can be interactive with the music as well. For good measure I throw in songs that are friendly for both the adults and little ones.
