Lightning Creek plays classic and new country with a mix of rock and roll - whatever their audience is in the mood for! The band is the home of award-winning singing fronted by Vern and Paul Johnson, fourth place finishers in the 2010 Minnesota Duet Championship held annually at the Minnesota State Fair. The band is multi-instrumental including keyboards, fiddle, and lapsteel and features an emphasis on three-part harmonies. Four musicians comprise Lightning each with significant career experience. Lightning Creek delivers energizing performances playing music they love, creating a fun and enjoyable experience for their audiences.
