I've been making music for over 20 years-- my first professional band was when I was 17 years old. Writing and playing guitar came in my late 20s, and whether performing original material or covers, I simply love singing, playing songs, and connecting to each audience. It's a collaborative process...the energy between the crowd and the musicians.

When hiring me as a solo musician, you are getting an intimate, musically-conversational performance. Relaxing, yet engaging. And my songlist spans six decades! Think me in your backyard for a cookout, or in your living room for a holiday soiree.

If you want to add more expansion to the music, listen to When You Say Nothing at All, Venus or What a Wonderful World. My husband and the second half of the duo brings his art of melodic, electric guitar playing to fill in the spaces of each song. Our shows transition from lounge music to classic rock with relative ease. Fans throughly enjoy our broad song selection-- from Dusty Springfield to the Foo Fighters, Linda Rondstadt to Sheryl Crow, Tammy Wynette to Kings of Leon. Think us providing the musical backdrop for your small corporate cocktail party, country club event, wine tasting...

Some notables are that I opened for national recording artist, Meg Hutchinson, in November 2008, my song, Cross the Line, received an honorable mention in the MASC (adult contemporary category), my band, Easy Access, performed for President Clinton back in the early 90s, and I've played everywhere in between-- retirement homes, coffeeshops, vineyards, wedding receptions, yoga classes, ceremonies, bars, outdoor festivals...simply put, every show is of equal importance and signficance. When hiring me you have the confidence of getting a seasoned performer, with over 2,200 shows under my belt.

I've also put New Age under a style, as I am a yoga teacher, and perform music for a few select classes for other teachers, as well as my own workshops. I would recommend listening to The Change, a song I wrote that best represents this style, lyrically and melodically.

While I may not be a fit for more traditional affairs, I believe my niche is for those who are seeking a unique, intimate, authentic voice, as I can perform original material and cover material, and will work with you on what best suits your needs. I have complete confidence that I or the duo would offer the musical energy for your affair.
