Description

THE GREAT DIVAS OF GOSPEL is a dynamic female quintet who has been performing together for 15 years. They can sing a cappella or with instrumentation, and their powerful voices "bring down the house" every time. They have sung at The Famed Apollo, Harlem's renowned Cotton Club, as well as on several TV shows such as FX Cable's "Morning Show," UPN 9'S "Jon Stewart Show," NBC'S old soaper, "Another World," Fox 5's "Noonday News," NBC'S "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," and CBS'S popular "Late Night with David Letterman,"with The Late Show's Gospel Choir. Their magical harmonious voices are heavenly! Awesome singers!
In actuality, they are the cast members of the electrifying gospel musical, "The Great Divas of Gospel," which pays a timely tribute to the female pioneers of Gospel music such as: Marion Williams & The Stars of Faith, The Clara Ward Singers, The Sallie Martin Singers, Albertina Walker & The Caravans,
Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Ruth Davis & The Famous Davis Sisters, The Roberta Martin Singers, and Mahalia Jackson. All of these great ladies come alive in that show, and are magnified through dramatic skits, and their hit songs.
