Description
The band originated as a family band, as the demand for Caribbean Culture became obvious and needed. The owner and lead player was a Volunteer DJ on a radio station and played Caribbean and World Beat music. She was born in the Caribbean and started the band with her two daughters and her two sons. She was a Math teacher also and recruited her giggling student to join the band. A few friends also came on board and the band expanded to include them.
Caribbean Vibes Steelband is popular with young,very young, middle or advanced age,Calypso as the band entertains in many venues and settings.

- The band was perfect for our event, a celebration of my husband's 50th birthday party. He is a big fan of reggae and caribbean music. We had about 20 children at the event and the band did a terrific job entertaining them, allowing the adults to speak to each other, which rarely happens at family-oriented parties.
