Wildlife Educators Coalition Animal For A Party from Rochester, NY

Wildlife Educators Coalition is an all volunteer organization in upstate New York. The core members own exotic pets, most are rescues. We group our animals according to the theme of the particular exhibit or presentation. We have 50+ different species of engaging critters from all over the world. Learn about the animals, their personal stories, their wild cousins, their native environment and their status in the wild. We include lessons on kindness as represented by our own relationship with our animals, and responsible, educated choices. For example, we will tell you why your really don't want a monkey for a pet. We talk about prey/predator relationships, conservation, human/animal interactions. We have a variety of programs – Diversity of Life to story book. Our price ranges from $75 to $10,000 (upper range is for an all day festival with several animal organizations). We will do our best to give you a program you will love for a price you can afford. We also have a costumed story teller and a Native American story teller available for your event to add extra excitement. Nick Hadad is our primary story teller and he has access to several different animal costumes. Perry Ground is from the Onondaga Nation and is a rock star, throwing himself completely into the retelling of Native legends and mythology. Our integrated programs with either story teller are pretty great. We will customize a program to fit your curriculum or agenda. We work with other wildlife groups around the state to provide the largest variety of animals available for education, entertainment and a unique experience.
