Anna Kaminnik was born in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.(USSR) She began her extraordinary life through the Olympic Gymnastics at the age of seven years old. Every year she perfected her gymastic skills and she she been qualified for the prestigious Olympic Reserve College. Thru her hard work and natural talent she became a professional Olympic gymnast and joined the National team of Russia and USSR. At the age sixteen she graduated from the Olympic Reserve College. She then attended Rostov state Universiry for six years, where she graduated and received her Degree in Physical and Sports Education. While attending University she found her passion as a performing circus artist, soon becoming the most prominent member of Youth Center of Circus Arts, Academician of Russian Academy of Circus Artist directed by Vladlen Levshin. Director Levshin created for Anna an Aerial Cradle Act and started her circus performing career. Under his guidance she perfected the Aerial Cradle Act and performed all over Russia,while helping teach the younger students at the Rostov Youth Center of Circus Arts. After several years then she joined the Russian State Circus and started working in an act called Russian Bar. With the skills she mastered in the Russian Bar she was able to secure a contract with Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus in the United States. Anna has been part of Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus for the past fourteen years. With all her gymnastic and circus skills she has been able to perform many circus acts ( Russian Bar, Globe of Death, Aerial Bungee, Chinese Dragon Act, German Wheel, Survivor Aerial Cradle, Aerial Lyra, Jumprope, Tumbling on Fast Track, Trapeze by Helicopter Dancing and Aerial Silk ). She also worked for Cirque du Soleil in Montreal, Canada with the Flying Act. In 2011 Anna created and performed a new Aerial Quick Change Silk Act .She been perform cirque" Musica", cirque " Aquatic", show " Ballare",circus "Wallenda" and other events.
