As Young man Trey always dreamed of making it Big . He just never knew that the road would be so bumpy and that road included many detours that allowed Trey to witness and experience Life's underbelly. The road of degradation and drugs and alcohol detoured Trey's road to success but never extinguished his dream or his passion for music. One day while sitting in a rehab, a counselor handed Trey a guitar after hearing him sing. Trey had never played a guitar before but soon it was like a glove on a hand. The guitar and Trey were inseparable and with his new found spiritual zest for Life , Trey began on the road to recovery with renewed passion and outlook for the future.
Trey had always been a writer , but the life of drugs, etc. stunted that creator within and thus now he was unleashing that creativity in a way that astounded many people. Soon he was being asked to come to Nashville, where a producer who had heard Trey sing, decided he wanted to write with him and record Trey singing his music. The outcome of this professional Liaison was a true learning experience for Trey and the buisiness of Music was as well. Thus Trey returned "Back in Birmingham" and continued his quest for acknowledgement for his musical talents. He continues to write, perform and audition for shows and performance opportunities all around the southeast when able. New opportunities await and new horizons are in his future. Renewed with a blessed sense of self, Trey is preparing himself mentally, emotionally, physically , spiritually and musicaly for the next level.
