Acoustic guitarist Tom Caufield combines strong melodies with a sense of longing and aching beauty to create a distinctive style that is contemplative and emotional, yet intricate enough to reward close listens. His set of all original compositions is a fresh blend of rural, ambient, folk, classical, gypsy and pop elements.

Originally from Michigan and North Carolina, he now lives and works in Los Angeles. His music has been used in the television shows 'Friday Night Lights,' 'The Black Donnellys,' 'Felicity,' 'One Life to Live' and more, as well as in numerous national commercials.
Tom recently provded the pre-show music for the American Humane Association's 'Hero Dog Awards' event, which took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and will be broadcast on the Hallmark Channel on October 30, 2013.
Tom's music provides an elegant background to a dinner, brunch, coffee environment as well as to a reception of any kind: wedding, art gallery, memorial, honorarium, anniversary, etc. His music will transforms and enlivens the environment, yet is never overbearing, leaving plenty of space for conversation and socializing.
