Steve Watson is both an experienced performer and passionate about his music. His aim is to bring elegance and sophistication to your wedding or special event. With his mixture of classic, Brazilian, and contemporary jazz you can be sure your guests will be delighted.

Steve began playing guitar at the age of 15. He studied classical guitar at the Chicago College for the Performing Arts and later studied jazz guitar with noted jazz recording artist Clay Moore and has been teaching and performing for over 30 years. For years he performed in the Austin area in jazz and variety bands as a busy guitarist and bassist. In recent years he has performed in the Las Cruces area, where he now lives and teaches private lessons.

Steve will add an ambiance of elegance to any occasion or setting with the mellow sound of his guitar. Steve can play (and even help you plan) your wedding music from the ceremony to cocktail and dinner music. Steve has a very large repertoire that includes great American standards, classical, Latin, rock, and jazz (see a partial song list below for just a few examples).
