Description

Performing in and around the Louisville area since the early 70's, Robert Burkett has provided entertainment as both a lead vocalist with various bands and as a solo artist. Having produced several albums of original material, a number of these songs are included in the performance schedule. Presently small venues are preferred, and consideration is given with each function in regard to the type of event, whether formal company dinner parties, "backyard" barbeques, or local pubs and taverns. Artists covered include Neil Young, Cat Stevens, The Eagles, Neil Diamond, Lobo, Elton John, The Bee Gees, John Fogerty/CCR, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, The Moody Blues, Rick Nelson and many more. The songs are rendered as close to the original as possible, always mindful of volume levels in quieter rooms, where conversation and comfort are important to guests.
