Description

Kenny is a solo acoustic guitarist and singer/songwriter from Liverpool, England. Kenny has played music all over the world - from parties/restaurants in Liverpool and London to the South of France to the Caribbean where he also worked on Yachts and played music for guests. His acoustic music of classic rock/contemporary folk, gentle voice, fingerpicking guitar style is reminiscent of Paul Simon and James Taylor and sounds like two guitars! He provides a coffee house atmosphere with stories and audience participation delighting guests with much more than great musicianship.

Kenny plays weddings (including music learned at the request of clients as well as instrumentals for ceremonies), anniversaries, art shows, outdoor festivals, Irish Taverns, restaurants and solo Beatles Tribute regularly from Baltimore's Inner Harbor to the NJ State fair, senior events, libraries shows in NYC and beyond. In Meyersville, NJ restaurant pub owner Cheryl has said, "He has something for everybody".

Feedback

  • Kenny was perfect for our party, terrific in every way! -- Mary P, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, 9/12/2009
  • We will hire him again in the future. -- Jeffrey S, Beach Haven, NJ, 8/2/2009
  • This was our second time hiring Kenny to play our private party. We have hired other musicians through GigMasters but deciding on Kenny again was an easy choice. From the start of the booking through the completion of the gig, he and his manager make everything stress free. He is very talented, with a great repetoire. As before, on Kenny's behalf we had lots of compliments and 'where did you find hims'! If you hire Kenny you will not be disappointed. -- Jane G, Chatham, NJ, 11/8/2008
  • Kenny was fantastic to work with. He learned new songs just for my event, and all my guests loved him. His assistant Eva was a dream to work with, always emailing my back right away and helping me with all my requests. A great experience. -- Justine M, Brooklyn, NY, 8/30/2008
  • Kenny played at my engagement party, which we surprised everyone by actually turning into our wedding. He performed our ceremony music and played during the whole reception. We got numerous compliments on Kenny, his guitar style, and his songlist. Everyone wanted to know where we found him and thought he was a great addition to our wedding. He was so professional and was extremely accomodating to our many requests. He is a great guitar player and singer and if you like this type of music, who doesn't, he'd be a great addition to any party. Thanks again Kenny (and to his great assistant Eva as well)! -- Jill B, Morris Plains, NJ, 2/23/2008
  • Kenny was fantastic! Very professional and talented. Lots of positive feedback from guests. We loved Kenny. -- Daniel C, Hamilton Square, NJ, 9/23/2007
  • Kenny kicked off the first in a series of coffee houses in our synagogue and proved himself to be a real crowd-pleaser. In addition to his playing and singing, the audience enjoyed his anecdotes between songs. A keeper! -- Debra L, Fairfield, CT, 9/1/2007
  • Kenny was wonderful! He offered to learn songs that I liked for my wedding ceremony, never complained or said no to special requests, and arrived early and stayed late. He was professional and a great musician. -- Carrie I, Middletown, CT, 8/10/2007
  • Kenny Cunningham played at our private party on Aug 26 06. He and his booking manager made the whole booking process extremely simple and pleasurable. He was prompt, friendly, very talented, with a great set list, witty repartee and just an overall charming demeanor. I have lost count of the number of compliments we received on his behalf. We highly recommend this artist and will definitely be hiring him again. Jane Golden -- Jane G, Summit, NJ, 8/26/2006
  • He was great! He made our party. -- Deana L, Whitehouse Station, NJ, 7/29/2006
  • The event for which we hired Kenny was a St. Patrick's Day cultural event for students and staff at Brooklyn College. Kenny was one of the most easy-going performers we have ever hired to perform. He played a great variety of songs, took requests, and added humorous stories and tid-bits to enhance the performance. He has great stage presence and is very comfortable interacting with the audience. He stuck around after his performance for discussion and to answer questions. Not only would I recommend Kenny to friends, we hope to hire him again for another event here on campus. -- Joshua G, Brooklyn, NY, 3/17/2011
  • I had book Kenny for a surprise marriage proposal and everything turned out to be perfect. Kenny is an incredibly talented musician with a lot of experience. I am glad I had the pleasure of making his acquaintance and I would definitely recommend him for any occasion! He is a great guy and went out of his way to make that special day exceed my expectations. My now fiance and I will be forever grateful! Thank you Kenny! -- Paul B, New York, NY, 12/17/2010
  • Kenny is an excellent musician ! We were very lucky to have found him. He absolutely helped make our ' wedding in a hurricane' a success. Everyone at our wedding asked where we found him, and commented on how great he was!!! Awesome job Kenny!!!! -- Patte S, Kintnersville, PA, 8/27/2011
