Description

Ken Wanovich will captivate you with his accomplished acoustic guitar fingerstyles, his driving classic rock styles, and his smooth and engaging vocal renditions. Ken's singing and guitar playing brings together the best in musical storytelling, high energy classic rock, musical reminiscing, and just plain fun! Since age 6, Ken has been singing and entertaining audiences of all generations. As a solo performer, Ken has traveled coast to coast entertaining at college campuses, outdoor and indoor theatres, concert halls, and nightclubs. You'll have a new friend in short time as Ken shares his life, his music, and his gift of entertainment.

Why Hire Ken?

Reason #1: High Quality Performance. Ken has been performing locally and nationally for over 35 years! He is known for providing an entertaining, high quality, engaging performance.

“Ken has performed for us at two different locations, with two different clientele and has been above and beyond everyone's expectation at both. Ken's performances have come to be the highlight of our month. Ken is not a local singer, he is a performer and makes you feel like you got to spend the night at your own private concert!" - Cedric, Local Nightclub Owner

Reason #2: Audience Connection. Ken's ability to draw his audience into the music is a unique talent. Whether it's his smooth and silky ballads, his gutsy and earthy acoustic rock, or the variety of crowd participation songs in his repertoire, Ken connects with people at an honest, authentic level that must be experienced to understand.

“Ken is my favorite musician. He has the charisma, talent and the enthusiasm to make a memorable musical event into a life changing experience. I would have Ken lead any event because he has the broadest range of musical experience and repertoire. He is comfortable at river boat parties, corporate events, and receptions of all kinds. Ken loves people and it shows in how he engages the audience to sing along. He has the aura and ability to lift people into another dimension of joy and tranquility. Hire Ken. He is the best I've worked with period.”
- Larry, Local & National Non Profit Leader

Reason #3: Small Footprint… High Quality Sound. Ken has invested in the highest quality music and sound equipment. The award-winning Bose L1-II sound system can cover an entire room with even, consistent sound levels… even at low volumes. Now the audience in the back of the room can hear with the same tone and clarity as those right in front of the stage. With this combination of a high quality sound system and excellent acoustic instrumentation, close your eyes and you'll swear you were sitting in a concert hall.

Reason #4: Variety - Variety - Variety - Variety - Variety - Variety - Variety! Ken's music appeals to a wide variety of ages and musical tastes. He covers a multitude of musical styles from the 1950's to present day pop music. He can turn a room into a concert setting with his storytelling and acoustic fingerstyles, or into a party room with the audience singing and dancing to a variety of their favorite songs from yesterday and yester-year.

“Ken thoroughly loves to play the guitar and entertain his audience, and you can tell he is happy to be on stage. When you have the kind of passion that Ken has it really resonates throughout his audience and pulls them into a participation mode that most musicians simply cannot accomplish. This is what separates Ken from all other musicians who play one song after the other, and become back ground music. We look forward to the nights Ken is performing as we are guaranteed a wonderful time.” - Dave, recent fan feedback

Thank you for taking a little time to get to know me! If you want quality music and entertainment that your guests will be talking about long after your event is over, please let me make your special event a memorable one!

Feedback

  • Ken was extremely helpful in working with us and with the memorial service family member to select the music of Bob Dylan that they wanted. He arrived early to request a music stand and appropriate microphone and to talk with our minister about the memorial service. He was gracious and thoughtful, qualilties that are so essential in this sensitive setting. As the church memorial service coordinator, I could not have been more pleased. -- Julie H, Saint Paul, MN, 3/19/2010
  • GREAT Job ~ played to the genre of the guests in attendance for our grandma's 90th birthday ~ My grandma lives in Gramercy Park C0-OP & she asked for his name @ the end of the party so she could have it for future gatherings @ Gramercy. -- Stacy M, Inver Grove Heights, MN, 3/7/2010
  • Ken played at our wedding ceremony, which was mostly traditional wedding music, and it was beautiful. It added so much to our ceremony and was exactly what we wanted. He also played at our reception and was a HIT! Our guests loved him! We had many, many comments on Ken during and after the wedding. At the reception he played a variety of music, perfect selections for the athmosphere we wanted. He was very accomodating to our requests, playing a few songs off of CD's we provided, and letting one of our relatives sing a song with him. We're so happy we had Ken provide the music for our wedding, we would highly recommend him! -- Sara W, Edgerton, WI, 6/12/2010
