Hello & Thanks for visiting ! I'm a solo guitarist & vocalist. I also play ukelele... Please read my recent reviews, it's an honor to play for such fine people... I've been fortunate to play with the finest musicians from some of the biggest bands in the world, including members of Paul McCartney's Wings, Dire Straits, Los Lobos, Go-Go's, Jesse Johnson, Vertical Horizon, Wallflowers, The Rembrandts & many others. I've toured many countries, played hundreds of gigs in many of the world's best venues, from the Montreaux Jazz festival & Hollywood Bowl to The Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel. I just finished recording a CD with many of the above-mentioned musicians.
In fact, I just got a really nice "pat on the back" from a friend who's opinion I really value... Don Felder, guitarist for The Eagles ... " The CD is a big hit. I've written music for Sony & other companies, documentaries, even films of John Steinbeck's short stories. I look forward to giving your event the perfect soundtrack...
I've done hundreds of gigs, from New York City to Lake Tahoe, Malibu, Santa Barbara & San Francisco, including an Anniversary party for 300, Hollywood Hills Birthday party for 100, "All-Beatles" Malibu Beach Wedding for 35, San Diego Beach Cliffs Wedding for 85, beautiful occasions all... I just played a July 4th concert for 60,000 people in Warner Center Park... big fun... I've been invited to play at the Miami Music Festival in November.
One more thing... I don't like to use drum machines, or backing tracks... These songs all sound great with an amplified acoustic guitar & voice -

When I do a gig for kids, here's how I approach it.... I play contemporary songs, most of which these kids already know, songs that have lyrics that teach, inspire, & help them learn.... I encourage kids to sing along, and I'll have some percussion instruments for kids to play. Song examples include Toy Story's "You've Got A Friend In Me", by Randy Newman, Tarzan's "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins, "Time Of Your Life" by Green Day, "House On Pooh Corner" by Kenny Loggins, "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts, "Black Horse & Cherry Tree" by KT Tunstall, "BlackBird" by The Beatles, "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor... I've played Los Angeles City-Sponsored concerts for kids, elementary schools, nursery schools & benefits for "Autism Speaks".
