Hello & Thanks for visiting ! I'm a solo guitarist & vocalist. I also play ukelele, mandolin & slide guitar. I've been fortunate to play with the finest musicians from some of the biggest bands in the world, including members of Paul McCartney's Wings, Dire Straits, Los Lobos, Go-Go's, Jesse Johnson, Vertical Horizon, Wallflowers, The Rembrandts & many others. I've toured many countries, played hundreds of gigs in many of the world's best venues, from the Montreaux Jazz festival & Hollywood Bowl to The Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel. I just finished recording a CD with many of the above-mentioned musicians.

I've done hundreds of gigs, from New York City to Lake Tahoe, Malibu, Santa Barbara & San Francisco, including an Anniversary party for 300, Hollywood Hills Birthday party for 100, "All-Beatles" Malibu Beach Wedding for 35, San Diego Beach Cliffs Wedding for 85, beautiful occasions all... I just played a July 4th concert for 60,000 people in Warner Center Park... big fun... I've been invited to play at the Miami Music Festival in November.
One more thing... I don't like to use drum machines, or backing tracks... These songs all sound great with an amplified acoustic guitar & voice -

When I do a gig for kids, here's how I approach it.... I play contemporary songs, most of which these kids already know, songs that have lyrics that teach, inspire, & help them learn.... I encourage kids to sing along, and I'll have some percussion instruments for kids to play. Song examples include Toy Story's "You've Got A Friend In Me", by Randy Newman, Tarzan's "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins, "Time Of Your Life" by Green Day, "House On Pooh Corner" by Kenny Loggins, "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts, "Black Horse & Cherry Tree" by KT Tunstall, "BlackBird" by The Beatles, "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor... I've played Los Angeles City-Sponsored concerts for kids, elementary schools, nursery schools & benefits for "Autism Speaks". It's important for me to show these little people big respect, and show the importance of creativity... Here's a note from a 2nd Grade teacher at Welby Way Elementary School... "It has been a dream year because you come to the classroom and sing with us. We are so thankful, it has been so nice and soothing to sing with you."
Recently, I flew to NYC to play at a Birthday party - This morning I received this note... " Dear Christopher, Thank you kindly for making the journey to NYC and sharing your beautiful acoustic guitar talent, and your wonderful singing voice. Your music and lyrics danced on the ears hearts and soul of everyone at my beautiful wife's birthday party. You greatly helped us make it a very special and memorable night for all. Not only did he turn up early, but he performed for a whole 8 hours pretty much non stop, learnt songs that we asked for and did any requests that our guests wanted on the day.

- Absolutely wonderful experience! Mr. Wooley is very talented and so nice. We had a small dinner party with 17 adults and 6 kids and everyone found him delightful. My only regret is that I didn't book him for longer hours. 2 hours is not nearly enough. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Wooley. - We hired Christopher to perform our beach wedding and reception. I am a stickler for service and professionalism and Christopher, by far exceeded our expectations. He was always quick to respond with questions or requests, he arrived early and stayed beyond the time we hired him for. His ability to make the music a soft and soothing backdrop for both events and not overtake everything was unbelievable. His voice was honestly like an angel. He can literally sing anything. As Randy Jackson from American Idol says "Dude, you could sing the phone book and it would sound amazing."

- As a busy bride, Chris was vey understanding of the limited time I had to spend on music selection. He sent friendly reminder emails without being too pushy. The ceremony went perfectly with only a brief script to follow...no practice. He played all the right songs at exactly the right time and faded off at the perfect times.
