I can be the life of the party or provide excellent background music - and I have appropriate professional sound gear and music equipment for any occasion - from the very large to the intimate and personal.
I play a wide variety of covers all the way from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's to today in rock, pop, blues, folk, jazz, classic rock, country, soul, and top quality Texas Country and Americana.
Artists include The Eagles, Johnny Cash, John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Rick Springfield, Tommy Tutone, Dave Matthews, Robert Earl Keen, Stone Temple Pilots, Stevie Wonder, Pat Green, Oasis, Eric Clapton, Weezer, Garth Brooks, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Willie Nelson, and many many more.
I have a pro attitude and equipment but I love what I do!
I hope I have the opportunity and to prove it to you, and I know your guests won't regret it.

I have years of experience playing clubs, weddings, and private parties, and I'm happy to share my expertise even if you don't use me for the gig - I want to insure that your satisfied with your live music experience.
In addition please note that I am available as a duo or trio with a female vocalist, guitar, percussion, and harmonica player, or additional instrumentalists, including percussion, guitar, fiddle, and mandolin.

I had the pleasure of having Chris Dempsey play for my wedding reception, 8 years ago. It has always been a very fond memory for us. We were throwing a graduation party for my son, so we sought Chris out again. He was available, and now has a wife that is part of his act. His wife has a wonderful voice. If Johnny Cash and Credence Clearwater Revival were to have a son, Chris would be that son. That's how I describe his sound at least. I hope he agrees. They showed up early and played later than they had to. They are professional, but also friendly and engaging. I will book them again!

Chris was very easy to work with and I appreciated his professionalism and positivity before, during and after the event. I was not able to enjoy his performace as I was busy overseeing the corporate event he was hired to play but I know the guests enjoyed him. I would defiitely recommend Chris to others.
