Casey Lee Smith

Thanks for checkin out me and my music. I play acoustic guitar as well as I have a full band or we do 2 or 3 piece setups as well. I've been told my guitar skills make my solo performance the best. But our band is filled with some of the best guitarist and drummer in the valley. I also write a lot of my own music which is country/rock/pop.

I've played at the Ryman Auditorium, South By Southwest and have been featured on various TV shows and news casts. I am a pre-med student at Grand Canyon University where I play for the Chapel band and am an Ambassador for GCU, where they feature me at various events to promote the University as well as to promote myself and my music.

I write and compose music with some of country's finest. One being professional Grammy-nominated guitarist Bryan Austin, of Clint Black's band, who has since taken me under his wing, so to speak, collaborating with him on many new songs.

I have won numerous local competitions and he recently won Grand Prize for his song "Never Stood Taller" in the Inspirations/Gospel category and also for his song, "Losing You", in the Country Category of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest (JLSC).

• Casey and his manager were perfect to work with. They were willing to meet us prior to the performance to look over the venue. That helped us to understand what we had and might possibly need to accomodate the performance (equipment, location on site, etc). Casey arrived early on the day of the performance to setup and go over the details one more time. We made some last minute changes/requests and he accomodated us with a smile!
