Alex Drizos

I specialize in Classic Rock and Pop hits of the 1950's thru 1990's arranged for and performed on 12-String, Acoustic-Electric Guitar. I also incorporate the use of a Vocal Harmonizer and other hi-tech guitar effects to make my sound full and engaging. (Please audition my audio tracks).

My songlist includes material by America, Eagles, Van Morrison, Doobie Brothers, Dave Mason, Jimmy Buffet, Gin Blossoms, Soul Assylum and many others of the "Baby Boomer" and "Generation X" demographics.

I also provide my "DJ/KJ Combo" of Acoustic Guitar/Vocals Set(s) and Dance/Karaoke Entertainment, as I switch to DJ (Music) and/or KJ (Karaoke) if you wish (additional charge applies). I have 10,000+ songs for the choosing. This is ideal for weddings, class reunions and home parties. I'm also a skilled, personable and engaging Master of Ceremonies for those very special events requiring such.

I have been a musician/entertainer in Cover Bands and Solo gigs all of my adult life and career. I have also toured with a number of National and International Recording Artists in the persons of Donna Summer, Eddie Money and have been touring with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Dave Mason for the past 15 years, to name a few. I have performed in every type of venue from Disneyland to Carnegie Hall. I am proficient at "reading" an audience and knowing what works for EVERY situation.

• Visually, Alex’s stage appears miniscule with just one man, his guitar and some electrical equipment, but then he starts playing and produces a harmonic sound that leaves you believing there is a three or four person band in the room. His miniscule production at best, transformed our dinner in to three hours of great music, laughter, and dancing.
