Jim Rice, or Giacomo Riso, as he is sometimes called, has been serenading guests at Sal's by Victor, Italian Restaurant in beautiful Williamsburg Virginia for over 10 years. Jim enjoys playing and singing songs from Europe because they express the full range of human emotions. Children are hypnotized by his magic box when they sing a long to familiar kids tunes. Jim especially likes to help celebrate special occasions with his accordion such as birthdays, anniversaries, receptions and wedding rehearsal dinners. He is versed in French, German, Russian, Cajun Italian, Irish and pirate music as well as country, American standards and patriotic selections. Annual performances include: First Night - College of William and Mary St Paddy's Day - Cozzy's Comedy Club, Newport News International Children's Festival - Hampton Blackbeard Festival - Hampton Parks and Recreation - Hampton Williamsburg Pottery Occasion for the Arts - Williamsburg Shocktoberfest - Richmond Jim also repairs accordions and teaches lessons.

First Impression (Jim Rice) made my mother-in-law's 90th birthday a very special and enjoyable occasion for everyone in attendance. He played every song we requested beautifully and even performed some wonderful songs for the children. He is a gifted musician and a wonderful entertainer. I highly recommend him!
