Jewel Tones

The JewelTones is a versatile group of 10 Bay Area women who perform songs from the turn of the (20th) century through the 1950s with an emphasis on the great old songs of the 40s.
The Fabulous JewelTones will customize each program to fit your event.
Our own Rosie the Riveter will work with you to create a funny and touching story line for a memorable program. We have performed for countless groups in San Francisco, on the Peninsula, and South Bay.

• I cannot say enough good things about the Jewel Tones- too bad the rating scale does not go higher! Betsy showed so much care, consideration and energy into learning my Mom's history that was woven throughout the performance. She even incorporated some Dutch phrases (Mom's background) really personalizing the show. The ladies looked lovely, performed magnificently and the keyboards fellow did a great job in accompaniment. They received many many compliments from the guests and my Mom cannot stop talking about them. Hat's off to the Jewel Tones and a huge "thank you" for making this so special for Mom. • The Jewel Tones "made" my grandmother's 90th birthday party! My grandmother was so touched by their performance and especially the personal details they included from her past. She is normally a woman of few words but she repeated over and over how impressed she was by the thought and preparation that went into their performance. She said they captured the time period perfectly! • The Jewel Tones performed at The Stratford on Friday April 30th. They arrived a good half hour early and when their performance began it was a pure delight from start to finish. Elizabeth (Betsy) Landergren was the perfect emcee dressed as Rosie The Rivoter accompanied by an additional seven performers who were professional, accomodating, but most of all FUN for each of our senior residents.
