TOTALLY 80's is a 4-piece live band from the L.A. area performing the best new wave eighties music. The band takes you back to that decade by playing hits from your favorite groups like Depeche Mode, Police, Flock of Seagulls, Duran Duran, the Cure, etc. All band members are costumed while playing to resemble 80's icons such as George Michael, Billy Idol, Valley Girl, and Adam Ant to provide a unique and festive "Halloween party"-like atmosphere.

TOTALLY 80's features both male AND female lead vocalists so you'll hear songs from Rick Springfield, Prince, and Bon Jovi, as well as from the Go-go's, Cyndi Lauper, and Madonna. A diverse style of 80's hits is played, from synthesizer-based songs like Simple Minds' "Don't you forget about me" and Gary Numan's "Cars", to guitar-based rockers like Billy Idol's "Rebel yell" or Stray Cats' "Rock this town".

In addition to offering our live band services, we offer DJ music services before our band starts playing. This service is popular with clients having a dinner phase of their 80's-themed party prior to the dancing phase. For wedding receptions, we provide a complete emcee/DJ/live band package.

For events where space or budget is a priority, we also offer a 3-piece version of our line-up including a guitarist/keyboardist, a bassist, and a drummer. All members of the 3-piece version sing lead and harmony vocals, offering a stripped-down 80's live band performance sure to fit into even the tightest client budget or into the smallest banquet room band area or backyard patio.

• Are you kidding - would I recommend them? Absolutely - although, I probably won't have to! Most all my guests left with their business cards they wanted! Everyone had a great time, and Jeff Brown was very well prepared with even the smallest requests I had. He was prompt with returning emails, and even ironed out possible snafus that could have occurred. They sounded GREAT and were extremely personable, keeping the party alive!
