Description
The Whip Its are ready to bring back the memories with all your favorite hits from the 80's! As the sister band to the highly successful 80's tribute "Loveshack", The Whip Its is quickly becoming a favorite in Las Vegas for dance music from the 1980's. This unique cast of players is hosted by the character Dieter (from "Sprockets" on Saturday Night Live) and Ivana Hump, a Euro dominatrix commanding the stage with her whip and leather ensemble. This vocal duo controls the crowd with their comic spin on the narration of the evening, churning out dry humor and witty one liners that keep the audience chuckling and waiting for more. Performing songs like One Way or Another (Blondie) and Jesse's Girl (Rick Springfield), The Whip Its is sure to bring back memories and 80's nostalgia. Backed by a pro band full dressed as "Devo drones", the musical talent of the band includes an entourage of performers with national musical recognition and international touring experience. Over the past years The Whip Its has performed regularly at Las Vegas casinos and continues to perform at Fremont Street Experience and corporate events around the U.S.
