Songs that rocked a generation - "Light My Fire", "California Dreamin", "Yesterday", "Margaritaville", "Black Magic Woman". Jerry started playing professionally in 1965 with his first rock and roll band, The XL's. They played school dances in the area and in the summer played the popular outdoor slab dances. A few years later the band changed it's name to The Shayds of Tyme. They continued to play school dances and competed in many Battle of the Bands both in Washington State and British Columbia. In 1971 Jerry formed a new band to travel to Asia for the USO. After the tour he reconfigured the group and The Tears of Joy was born. This band traveled the northwest playing nightclubs, lounges and hotels. Throughout his career, Jerry has performed in the U.S., Canada, Korea, Japan, The Philippines, Guam, Okinawa, Vietnam, Taiwan, Finland, England and Denmark. Jerry now performs solo with his guitar playing classic soft rock hits of the 60's & 70's and other feel good tunes. He is popular not only with the Baby Boomers, but also this generation that love Classic Rock!!!
