Hi everybody, we're the Hot Taters. Formed in October 2008 as the Hot Patootoes, we evolved in June 2009 to become the Hot Taters!. We bring you the best in 20's, 30's & 40's hot jazz, swing, Dixieland, & New Orleans Mardi Gras music. We're a versitile band of experienced muli-instrumentalists who play music from hard driving Dixieland to classic ballads to happy sing-a-longs to New Orleans brass band funk. In addition, we have a dynamic female vocalist. We've played music & arts festivals, private parties, weddings, wineries, etc. For whatever the occasion, if you want a fun, exciting musical experience for your event, please consider the Hot Taters. Pete was responsive in every way - prompt, accommodating and flexible. I hired the group for a brief surprise appearance at a birthday party. I requested the instrumentation and even a song, changed the time and asked Pete to text me when he arrived so I could carefully welcome the band. They came through perfectly and everyone, including and especially the birthday boy (age 70!), was thrilled! The mardi gras costumes were a hoot and the second-line appearance blew everyone away! The musicianship was party-friendly and just so much fun. Bravo!!
